Daniel Aggiano
- is a 10-time Czech
Champion, 1992 European Champion and the 1992 Olympic Bronze Medalist.
Daniel was the first man to land a quadruple jump in Olympic
competition. Daniel has skated
professionally and is currently coaching in Florida.
Alizah Allen
– is
the 1997 North Atlantic Senior Ladies Champion and placed in the top ten
at the 1997 U.S. Championships.
Alizah graduated Cum Laude from the University of Delaware in
2006. She holds an MA
degree and is currently pursuing an Ed.M degree in psychological
counseling. She plans to
specialize in sports psychology.
Alizah has also recently returned to skating.
Lisa Marie
Allen -
is a three-time
U.S. Silver Medalist and competed in the 1980 Olympics.
She is the 1990 World Professional Champion and an American Open
Professional Champion. She
skated with Ice Capades for 3 years.
Lisa does choreography and was Assistant Choreographer for the
film Blades of Glory, and the
Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2002 Olympics.
Ryan Arnold
– is a Canadian pair skater.
He and partner Carla Montgomery qualified twice for the Junior
Grand Prix Final and twice placed in the top ten at the World Junior
Figure Skating Championships.
Ryan and partner Meagan Duhamel were the first pair to land a
side-by-side triple lutz in competition.
Ryan has also competed as a singles skater.
Tracey Arnold
– is a former U.S. competitor and skated professionally with Disney on
Ice. Tracey was also
Assistant General Manager for Willy Bietak Ice Show Productions.
Tracey is a 5-time ISI World Champion Synchronized Skating Team
member and coaches in San Jose, CA.
Tracey also works as an animation and production effects
supervisor with DreamWorks Animation Studios, working on such films as
Madagascar and
Shrek 2.
Oksana Baiul
– is
the 1993 World Champion and 1994 Olympic Champion.
She has performed and competed professionally for many years.
Oksana has made numerous television and film appearances and has
developed her own clothing and jewelry line.
She has also written multiple books and supports numerous
charities.
Dirke Baker
–
was born in New Zealand and has competed for both the U.S. and New
Zealand. She placed 4th
at the 2000 U.S. Junior Championships and is the 2000 New Zealand
Champion. She was a
competitor at the World Championships in 2001 and is currently coaching
in Delaware.
Rebecca Barber
-
skates with the Glens Falls Figure Skating Club.
Becky has passed her Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field test.
She also helps with the club’s Basic Skills program.
Petr Barna
– is
a nine-time Czechoslovakian Champion and a four-time European medalist,
including a gold medal in 1992.
Petr achieved six top-ten finishes at the World Championships and
is the 1992 Olympic Bronze Medalist.
He was the first man to land a quadruple jump in Olympic
Competition. Petr briefly
skated professionally and is currently coaching in Florida.
Nathan
Bartholomay
– is the 2004 U.S. Juvenile Pairs Champion, 2005 U.S. Intermediate Pairs
Champion, and 2006 U.S. Novice Pairs Pewter Medalist with Meg Byrne.
Nathan competed with Erika Choi Smith at the 2009 U.S. Junior
Championships.
Gary Beacom
– is
the 1983 and 1984 Canadian Silver Medalist.
He was a 1984 Olympian and finished in the top ten at the 1984
World Championships. Gary
is the 1988 World Professional Champion.
Known for his avant-garde style, Gary has skated professionally
in numerous shows, including touring with Stars on Ice.
He is also an author and, in 1984, earned a degree in physics and
philosophy from the University of Toronto.
Bobby Beauchamp
– is
the 1979 U.S. Junior Silver Medalist.
At the 1979 World Junior Championships, Bobby was the first
African-American man to win a silver medal in international competition.
At the senior level, in 1983 he became U.S. Pewter Medalist and is the
1993 Skate America Bronze Medalist.
Bobby won bronze medals at the 1987 U.S. Professional
Championships and the 1988 World Professional Championships.
Bobby skated with Ice Capades for several years and is a coach,
choreographer and skating judge.
Tanith Belbin &
Benjamin Agosto
– have been
five-time U. S. Dance Champions from 2004-2008.
They are four-time World Medalists and won a silver medal at the
2006 Olympics. Tanith and
Ben were also guest skaters for part of the 2008 Stars on Ice tour.
Tanith was born in Canada and has dual citizenship.
Denise Benning
Reid
– is a former Canadian pair skater with Lyndon Johnston.
They had four finishes in the top five at the World Championships
and competed in the 1988 Olympics.
Becky Bereswill
– is the 2008 Junior Grand Prix Final Champion and finished in the top
ten at the 2008 U.S. Championships.
She is also an accomplished track and field athlete.
Sandra Bezic
–
and her brother, Val Bezic, were Canadian Champions from 1970 – 1974 and
finished in the top ten at the 1972 Olympics.
Sandra is a well-known choreographer, having choreographed
several programs for Olympic and World Champions.
She was the director and co-producer for Stars on Ice for several
years. Sandra also
choreographed numerous skating specials, including “Canvas of Ice,”
“Carmen on Ice,” and “You Must Remember This.”
Sandra has also served as a television skating analyst for
numerous events and is the author of
The Passion to Skate.
James Black
– is the 1999 British Junior Champion and is a 4-time senior British
Silver Medalist. James was
a competitor at the 2002 World Championship.
He has been a principal performer for Disney on Ice Presents
Princess Classics since 1986.
Judy Blumberg
– won the U.S. Ice Dance Championships from 1981-1985 with partner
Michael Seibert. They were
World Bronze Medalists from 1983-1985.
Judy and Michael placed 7th at the 1980 Olympics and
finished 4th at the 1984 Olympics.
They were the 1988 World Professional Champions.
Judy has served as a commentator for CBS Sports, as Ensemble
Director for Ice Theatre of New York, and as a motivational speaker.
She is an ISU Technical Specialist and was inducted into the U.S.
Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 1986.
Lauri Bonacorsi
–
and partner Travis Mager are the 2009 Pacific Coast Sectional Ice Dance
Champions and the 2009 U.S. Novice Ice Dance Champions.
Pilar Bosley
– was born in South Korea and is a U.S. ice dancer.
Pilar skated with Peter Cook from 1999 – 2003.
She and partner John Corona are the 2005 Novice Pewter Dance
Medalists and competed twice in the Junior Grand Prix and medaled in
2008. She is currently
coaching and is a student at St. Joseph’s University.
Melissa Bowman
– is an adult figure skater and ice dancer.
She also serves as U.S. National Vice Chair for National
Showcase.
Ryan Bradley
– is the 2007 U.S. Silver Medalist and a 3-time U.S. Collegiate
Champion. He has competed
both nationally and internationally and was Silver Medalist at Skate
Canada International in 2008.
Ryan’s parents and sister are also skaters.
Ryan also competed in pairs skating with Tiffany Vise.
He is studying business at the University of Colorado at Colorado
Springs and coaches at the Colorado Springs World Arena.
Mylene Brodeur
– has finished in the top ten twice at the Canadian Ladies
Championships. She
also competes in pairs with John Matatall.
They achieved top-ten finishes at the Canadian Championships in
2007 and 2008 and were bronze medalists in 2009.
They also achieved a top-ten finish at the World Championships in
2009.
Lorna Brown
– is a former British and World Professional Champion and a Master-rated
coach and choreographer.
She has skated professionally with John Curry’s company and was his
partner in several ice ballets.
She coaches world and Olympic level skaters.
Kurt Browning
– was the first skater to land a quadruple jump in competition, which he
achieved at the 1988 World Championships.
Kurt is a four-time Canadian
Champion and a four-time World Champion.
He competed in the 1988, 1992 and 1994 Olympics with top-ten
finishes each time. He is a
three-time Canadian Professional Champion and a three-time World
Professional Champion. Kurt
was selected to carry the Canadian flag in the Opening Ceremonies of the
1994 Olympics. He received
the Lou Marsh Trophy for Top Canadian Athlete in 1990 and the Lionel
Conacher Award in 1990 and 1991.
He became a Member of the Order of Canada in 1990 and was the
American Skating World Professional Skater of the Year in 1998.
Kurt received the Gustav Lussi Award from the Professional
Skater’s Association in 2001.
He was inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame in 1994 and
the Canadian Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2000.
He received a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2001.
Kurt has toured with Stars on Ice.
He continues to skate professionally in numerous shows and events
as well as serving as a television skating analyst.
Melissa
Bulhanagui
– is the 2006 U.S. Junior Bronze Medalist.
She placed 4th at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final in
2007. Melissa’s parents are
both from the Philippines.
Edward Bungalon
– is a senior coach in the Philippines.
He has contributed his artistic talents to the musical “Miss
Saigon” and is a voice teacher and coach.
Edward has served as a senior judge for the Philippine National
Skating Championships and is Special Events Creative Director for Sub
Zero Events and C2 Events in the Philippines.
Bianca Butler
–
and Joseph Jacobsen qualified for the 2005 Junior Grand Prix Pairs Final
in 2005, their first year in the Grand Prix.
They are the 2007 U.S. Junior Pairs Silver Medalists.
Jeffrey Buttle
– is a three-time Canadian Champion.
He is the 2006 Olympic Bronze Medalist and the 2008 World
Champion. Jeffrey studied
chemical engineering at the University of Toronto before taking a break
to concentrate on skating.
Jeffrey does choreography for other elite skaters and has served as
Athlete Representative for the Skate Canada Officials Advisory
Committee. He has also
guest-skated with Stars on Ice.
Elaine Button
– is a former national competitor in the United Kingdom.
She turned professional at the age of 19, skating and touring
internationally until she was severely injured in a career-ending car
accident. She currently rides and competes at Para Dressage Competitions
in the United Kingdom.
Elizabeth “Liz”
Cain
– and her
brother, Peter are the 1976 World Junior Pairs Bronze Medalists.
They are 4-time Australian Champions and competed in the 1980
Olympics. Liz was seriously
injured in the Sydney Harbour Bridge Ferry Disaster in 2007.
She has since returned to coaching skaters, including her son
Carlow, who is Australian Champion.
Michelle
(Bingham) Capron
- began skating
with Glens Falls Figure Skating Club in 1979 and has served as Club
President since 2006.
Caitlin “Kitty”
Carruthers Conrad and Peter Carruthers
– are brother and sister.
They are four-time U.S. Pairs Champions and were World Bronze Medalists
in 1982. Peter and Kitty
placed 5th in the 1980 Olympics and won a silver medal at the
1984 Olympics. They
competed and performed professionally with Stars on Ice.
In 1999 they were inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of
Fame. Peter has also served
as a television skating analyst.
Jo Carter
– is the 2007 Australian Champion.
She competed in the Olympics for Australia in 1998 and 2006.
Jo skates professionally as a principal skater with Holiday on
Ice.
Michael Chack
– is the 1993 U.S. Bronze Medalist.
Michael tours as a professional skater with Holiday on Ice.
Galit Chait
– and Sergei Sakhnovski are nine-time Israeli Ice Dance Champions.
They competed internationally from 1995-2006.
They achieved six top-ten finishes at the World Championships,
including a bronze medal in 2002.
Galit was the flag bearer and a competitor for Israel at the 2002
and 2006 Olympics. She
currently coaches ice dance.
Melissa
Cheatwood
– is a Special
Olympics skater from Texas.
She is a Level 3 ice dancer and Level 4 figure skater, and is a member
of the 2009 Special Olympics USA Worlds Team.
Christina
Chitwood & Mark Hanretty
– compete in
ice dance for Great Britain.
Christina is originally from the U.S. and Mark is originally from
Scotland. In 2009 they
earned an international ice dance medal and competed in the 2009
European Championships.
Mark also coaches skating and Christina teaches performance and
choreography for skaters.
Madison Chock
–
and Greg Zuerlein won both the U.S. and World Junior Pairs Championships
in 2009. They are also the 2008 Junior Grand Prix Final Champions.
Erika Choi
Smith
– has competed in both singles and pairs skating.
She is the 2002 South Atlantic Intermediate Ladies Champion and
the 2005 North Atlantic Junior Ladies Champion.
Alice Sue
Claeys
– is the 1990 U.S. Junior National Champion and has competed at the
senior level at U.S. Nationals.
She competed for Belgium in 1992 and 1993.
She has a Masters degree in international business and is
Director of Contracts and Accounts Receivable for UCB, Inc.

Lexi is a
member of the Glens Falls Figure Skating Club’s Basic Skills program.
Rhonda is Lexi’s grandmother and a dedicated supporter of club

Joelle Colville
Hanson
– is a Lutheran pastor and an adult skater and competitor.
She skates at the Bronze Freestyle level and at Pre-Bronze in
Solo Dance. Joelle also
enjoys cooking and gardening.
John Coughlin
–
and Bridget Namiotka, he is the 2006 U.S. Pairs Junior Silver Medalist.
They placed 4th at the 2006 and 2007 World Junior
Championships. With partner
Caitlin Yankowskas he was Midwestern Sectional Champion in 2008 and
2009.
Karen Courtland
Kelly
– is the 1994 U.S. Pairs Bronze Medalist with Todd Reynolds.
They have been World competitors and 1994 Olympic competitors.
Karen is a six-time U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist in
Freestyle, Pairs, Figures, Dance, Free dance and Moves in the Field.
She coaches in Lake Placid, NY and is a trainer for Peak Edge
Performance.
Jeanne
Cousineau – began skating with Glens Falls Figure Skating Club in
1979 and is currently a club coach.
She has coached for 24 years and has several competitive
students. Jeanne is married
and has a two-year-old son.
Marc-Andre
Craig
– is from Canada.
Marc-Andre placed 4th in his first time competing Four
Continents Championships in 2006.
He is currently coaching and preparing to compete at the senior
level for the 2010 season and is a member of the Hope on Ice troupe.
Charles Cyr
–
serves as a U.S. National Singles and Pairs Referee and a U.S. Olympic
Committee Representative.
Tracey
Damigella-Lohse
– is the 1985 Eastern Sectionals Junior Champion and U.S. Junior Ladies
Silver Medalist. She placed
4th at the 1986 U.S. Senior Nationals and was an alternate
for the World Team. Tracey
competed nationally and internationally, in both singles and pairs. She
was also the skating double for the role of Nancy in the film
The Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding
Story.
Meryl Davis
– and Charlie White won the 2009 U.S. Ice Dance Championship and the
2009 Four Continents Championship.
They were bronze medalists at the 2008 Grand Prix Final.
At the NHK Trophy in 2006, they became the first dance team to
earn level 4s on all of their elements.
Meryl was inducted into National Honor Society in high school and
is currently studying cultural anthropology at the University of
Michigan.
Bryce Davison
–
and Jessica
Dube are the 2007 and 2009 Canadian Pairs Champions.
They won a bronze medal at the 2008 World Championships and a
silver medal at the 2009 Four Continents Championship.
They placed in the top ten at the 2006 Olympics.
Marianne
DeLeeuw-Cook
– is the
younger sister of World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist Dianne
DeLeew. Marianne competed
in the early 1980’s and became a coach for Ice Capades Chalet.
She skated the lead spot for an ice show in Japan.
Marianne currently lives in Orange County, California, has a
family of 6 and is school administrator.
Derrick Delmore
– is
the 1998 World Junior Champion and the 1999 U.S. Collegiate Champion.
Derek also attended Stanford University with a double major in
psychology and communications.
Cheryl
Demkowski Snyder
– is the 1992 U.S. Junior Dance Silver Medalist.
She was a member of the U.S. International Team from 1992 – 1997.
Cheryl serves on the Basic Skills Sub-Committee and Dance
Committee for U.S. Figure Skating and is currently coaching 2008 World
Team skaters Kimberly Navarro and Brent Bommentre.
Caydee Denney
–
has competed in both singles and pairs.
With partner Jeremy Barrett, she is the 2009 U.S. Pairs Silver
Medalist and finished in the top 10 at the 2009 World Championships.
Caydee’s younger sister, Hayden, is also a competitive skater.
Justin Dillon
– is
a former U.S. Junior Champion.
He has skated professionally with American Ice Theatre and serves
on the U.S. Figure Skating Athletes Advisory Committee and as a
Technical Specialist.
Ivan Dimitrov
– is the 2003 Bulgarian Junior Champion and won a silver medal at the
2006 Bulgarian Championship.
He has competed extensively internationally.
Dede Disbrow
– is a coach for Braemar City of Lakes Figure Skating Club in Minnesota.
She has coached for over 30 years and is a National Technical
Specialist for Singles and Pairs.
Her late husband, Jimmy Disbrow, was a Past-President of U.S.
Figure Skating.
Jennifer Don

is a U.S.
Junior Ladies Silver Medalist, U.S. Collegiate Champion and Chinese
Taipei Champion. She is
also the 2003 Junior World Bronze Medalist in pairs with Jonathan Hunt.
Jennifer was the first female skater to win a competition under the new
scoring system. She was
valedictorian of her high school class and is a 2009 graduate of UCLA.
Phillip
Dulebohn
– and Tiffany
Scott are 2003 U.S. Pairs Champions and four-time World Team members.
They competed at the 2002 Olympics.
Philip currently coaches Tiffany Scott and Rusty Fein. Philip’s
brother is also a skater.
Deanna Dunn
– is a past member of Glens Falls Figure Skating Club.
She competed in Intermediate Freestyle at the 1996 North Atlantic
Regional Championships in Glens Falls.
She lives in Poughkeepsie, NY, works as an engineer and coaches
skating part-time.
Katherine &
Sandra Durkin
– Katherine “Katie” Durkin is a skater with the Glens Falls Figure
Skating Club. She has
passed her Pre-Juvenile Free Skating and Novice Moves in the Field
tests. Katie also helps with the
club’s Basic Skills classes. Sandy, Katie’s mom, is a Past-President of
the club and currently serves as Vice President.
Richard Dwyer
– is the 1948 U.S. Novice Champion, 1949 U.S. Junior Champion, and a
competitor at the senior level at the 1950 U.S. Nationals.
He skated professionally for many years with the Ice Follies and
Ice Capades, and was known as Mr. Debonair. Richard skated singles and
pairs in countless shows and has performed and coached world-wide.
He was inducted into the ISI Hall of Fame in 1979 and the U.S.
Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 1993.
Lorna Dyer
– is
a former ice dancer with John Carrell.
They are 1967 U.S. Champions and World Silver Medalists.
They are 1965 and 1966 World Bronze Medalists.
Ruth Eldredge
– is
the mom of U.S. figure skater Todd Eldredge.
When Todd won the World Championship in 1996, he placed his gold
medal around Ruth’s neck as she stood by the boards.
The entire crowd was moved by this touching gesture.
Todd Eldredge
– is a six-time U.S. Champion.
He won the World Championships in 1996.
Todd is a three-time member of the U.S. Olympic Team and was
inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2008.
He skates professionally with Stars on Ice.
Cheryl Elton
– is an adult skater with Glens Falls Figure Skating Club.
She is a freelance writer and has been published in
Skating magazine. Cheryl also
produced an instructional skating video, “Learn to Ice Dance,” which is
available at IceDancers.com.
Rachel Epstein
-
began skating at age 9 and competed in singles through the age of 13.
She then began competing in pairs with her twin brother.
They have been Novice Champions in the Netherlands and are
beginning to compete at the junior level this season.
Amanda Evora &
Mark Ladwig
– are U.S. pair
skaters who competed in the 2006 Grand Prix series and are the 2007 and
2009 U.S. Pewter Medalists.
Ann Fauver
– is a judge for U.S. Figure Skating.
Ann was instrumental in developing the competitive Synchronized
Skating Program for U.S. Figure Skating.
Ann’s son, Bill, is a former Olympic Pairs Skater with Lea Ann
Miller.
Rusty Fein
– is the 2000 U.S. Collegiate Champion at the junior level and is a
two-time Collegiate Silver Medalist at the Senior Level.
He has also competed in pairs with Tiffany Scott.
Together they are the 2006 U.S. Pewter Medalists.
Taylor Firth
- is
the 2004 U.S. Intermediate Pewter Medalist.
Taylor has competed both nationally and internationally.
She recently starred in the remake of the film
Ice Castles, set to be
released for the 2010 Olympics.
Her sister Chelsea is also a skater.
Adrienne
Fischer
- is a member
of Glens Falls Figure Skating Club and has passed her Novice Freeskating
Silver Dance and Senior Moves in the Field tests.
She has competed in Northeastern U.S. She is a former member of
the Saratoga Stars Synchronized Skating Team and is currently studying
mortuary science at Hudson Valley Community College
Alexis Fischer
– is a member of Glens Falls Figure Skating Club and has passed her
Senior Freeskating, Silver Dance and Senior Moves in the Field tests.
Alexis has competed in Northeastern U.S. and has guest-skated in
many shows. She has been a
member of the Saratoga Stars Synchronized Skating Team and is also a
talented singer and musician.
Rory
Flack-Burghart
– has competed as both an eligible and a professional skater.
Rory has performed in, produced and done choreography for
numerous skating shows and events.
She is currently coaching her son Remington, who is a pair
skater.
Rachael Flatt
– is the 2008 and 2009 U.S. Silver Medalist.
She is the 2008 Junior World Champion and placed in the top five
at the 2009 (senior) World Championships.
Rachael has also competed in pairs skating and has been
spokesperson for Reading is Fundamental.
Krista Florian
Girardin
– is a skating
coach in the Detroit, Michigan area. She has a B.S. in psychology from
Wayne State University and has been coaching for over 14 years.
Krista has skated with both U.S. Figure Skating and ISI and is
Gold and Group Judge for ISI.
Silvia Fontana
– was born on Staten Island, NY.
She is a three-time Italian Champion.
Silvia competed at the Olympics in 2002 and 2006 and has competed
at the World Championships.
She and U.S. skater John Zimmerman married in 2003.
Anna Forder-McLaughlin
– competed in pairs skating with Richard Stephens.
They are the 1967 Canadian Bronze Medalists, 1968 Canadian Silver
Medalists and 1969 Canadian Champions.
They competed in the 1968 Olympics.
At the 1969 World Championships they finished in the top 10.
Ashley Foy &
Benjamin Blum
– are the 2008 German Junior Ice Dance Champions.
They are international medalists and have competed in the Junior
Grand Prix series and the Junior World Championships.
Phyllis Friello
– began skating at the age of 28.
She has competed at the U.S. Adult Championships, achieving 2
gold medals in artistic skating as well as silver and bronze medals in
pair skating. She is a
research program manager at Kimmel Cancer Center, Vice President of the
Ice Club in Baltimore, and coaches in Mt. Washington, Delaware.
